A resident of Los Alamos went home to be with Jesus on June 16, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Vilma Meier. Born in St. Louis, MO on March 19, 1937, he was the son of the late Louis William Meier and Edna (Plagemann) Meier.

He was a staff member (mechanical engineer) at Los Alamos National Laboratory for 40 years. In retirement he and his wife greatly enjoyed traveling throughout the US in their RV.
His survivors include his wife Vilma, son Andy (Kelly), grandchildren Carson and Anna, daughter-in-law Gretchen Meier, grandsons Tristen and Trace, granddaughter Megan and great grandson Logan, brothers David (Kathryn) and Robert (Karen).
He was the loving uncle of nephew Steve Meier, nieces Becky Williams, Angela Meier Harvey and Krista Meier Helton.
A celebration of his earthly life and his present glorious life in the presence of God will be held at 11:30 a.m.June 21, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2390 North Rd., Los Alamos, NM. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. at Bethlehem.
