PATASKALA: Charles R. Coleman, 61, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Pataskala. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio in 1951 to Thomas and Bernice Coleman. He was a 1969 graduate of Berne Union. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and son, selfless and generous. He was self-employed as an HVAC specialist for over 20 years before joining Columbus Temperature Control. He surrounded himself with friends and family and loved to gather them into his home. He always put his family and friends before himself, and was the backbone and the heart of all of us. He departs from his loving wife, Lorie, his brothers Thomas (Bonnie), Michael, and Steven (Nancy), his mother Bernice, daughters, Jenny (Adam) Hurst and Rachel (Sean) Frazier, step-sons Andrew (Tara) Powell and Harold (Lida) Powell,His grandchildren will continue his legacy: Anna Frazier, Ellie Frazier, Katie Frazier, Samuel Hurst, Emma Hurst, Benjamin Hurst, Thomas Hurst, Alexis Powell, and Clayton Powell. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Coleman.

Friends may call at Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, Pataskala on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 6 to 9pm. Funeral service on Tuesday at the funeral home at 10am. Burial to follow at Pataskala Cemetery.
