Gladys Freda Pickett

LANCASTER: Gladys Freda Pickett, 90, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at her home with loved ones by her side. She was born on December 26, 1922 to the late John and Lulu (Eveland) Wolfinger. Gladys retired from Anchor Hocking after 33 years of service. She was an avid Bingo player. She loved cooking and planting flowers.

Gladys is survived by daughters Lulu Queen, Mary Miller and Nancy Pickett; sons John Potts, Ronald (Bonnie) Potts and Donald Potts; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren; brother Harold "Butch" (Lucille) Wolfinger; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Gladys was preceded in death by her husbands Howard Potts and James Pickett; infant daughter; sisters Dorothy Miller, Jean Rutter and Emmabelle Fausnaugh; brothers Bob, Russell and Elmer Wolfinger; half brothers Frank and Paul Price.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 26 at 11:00 AM at the Sheridan Funeral Home with Captain Jeff Stacy officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Rose Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 25 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to FairHoPe Hospice or to the Samaritan Center.
