Jack William Clifford
LANCASTER: A funeral service for Jack William Clifford, 85, of Lancaster, OH and lifelong resident of Heath, OH, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Cheryl Foulk officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.
Jack, a retired auto glass installer for Nelson's Glass Service, passed away October 31, 2013, at his daughter's resident in Lancaster, OH. He was born February 7, 1928, in Washington Courthouse, OH, to the late William Henry and Zelma Evaline (Boyd) Clifford.
He completed his schooling in Newark, OH. Jack was a US Army
Veteran of WWII
. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his children, Todd (Kristi) Clifford of Strongsville, OH, and Trisha (John) Clifford-Sprouse of Lancaster, OH; nine grandchildren, Kristen (Jeremy) Russell, Justin Sprouse, Adam (Tasha) Sprouse, Lauren Sprouse, Rebecca Sprouse, Elizabeth, Chase, Bridget, and Rachel Clifford; seven great-grandchildren, and brother, Robert (Mary) Clifford of Texas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alyce Lou (Frankenberry) Clifford, whom he married on June 12, 1946, and who passed away in May of 2010, and brother, George Clifford.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.
