Marjorie M. Lantzy

WORTHINGTON: Marjorie M. Lantzy, 87, of Westerville, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was born April 22, 1925 in Lancaster to the late Clarence and Nina Uhrig.

She was a 1942 graduate of Central H.S. and retired from the Columbus Police Department Record Bureau. Marjorie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with them playing cards, bingo, and watching sports on television. Past member of Southeast Conservation Club.

Marjorie's family would like to extend thanks to Manorcare Health Services and Heartland Hospice for the care given to her during this time. She was the best mother and grandmother in the whole world and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville "Bud"; son, Jerry Long; and brother, Clarence Uhrig.

Marjorie will be missed by her loving daughter, Sandra (Rich) Kaylor; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Long; grandchildren, Jill Long, Chad Long, Brian Kaylor (Sandy), and Shane Kaylor (Carla); and great-grandchildren, Danielle, Zach, and Jordan.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (Just south of I-270), where the family will receive friends Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
