We can find no justification when someone so good and kind is taken from us so needlessly. But I believe God has called Randy home to put him in a better place, where he will be rewarded for all that he was to everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. We will miss him, and always remember him with a smile in our hearts. God bless you Randy.

Such a void in Lancaster thisweek and forever. Randy you are and will never be forgotten. I first met you during a veterans day parade. You made my daughter her pants and shirt from your money. She's never forgot that. We had to frame it. May you protect us everyday from heaven. Over and out.

Randy, you will be so missed by all of your brothers & sisters of the police force and your friends. I still cannot believe that you are gone, I keep thinking that I will see you driving around and your smile will bring a smile to my face. You were a great & kindest man that I ever knew. My heart has a big void now but you will forever be in my heart. God now has a new angel to watch over his fellow officers and may you rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of meeting Randy many years ago when I worked at Kane's Restaurant. He was a great guy and always had a smile on his face. I hadn't talked to him in many years but would always see him driving around in his cruiser and occasionally we'd give each other a wave in passing. He always took care of us girls when we were working late. He was more than a cop. And he showed that through all of his actions. Our community has lost a true super hero and many lives will never be the same. RIP Randy and keep protecting us from your mansion in the sky.

My heart is broken! As a former deputy of the Fairfield County Dog Shelter, I was blessed with working with Randy on numerous calls. I can honestly say that Randy was the greatest person I have ever met! He had a gift dealing with people that was amazing. I know that he made my world a better place, and a huge void has been made in his untimely passing. Though he will be missed on earth, the angels are blessed to have him. Condolences, love and prayers go out to my brothers and sisters at the Lancaster Police Department were I know he is sadly missed, as well as Randy's family. I will miss you my friend!!!
