Carrie Morrison Obituary
CARROLL: Carrie Rachel Morrison, age 18, of Carroll, went to Heaven to be with her Lord and many family members waiting to surround her on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, from injuries received from a car accident.
Carrie was born May 27, 1993. She attended Lancaster High School and graduated in June, 2011. Carrie loved music, arts and crafts, sports, animals, and most of all a challenge. She had the will of steel that made her strong and funny.
She will be forever missed by her father, Robert Morrison of Lancaster; mother and step-father, Kay & Kevin Evans of Carroll; step-brother, Brandon Evans-Watson of West Virginia; very special friend, Justin South; aunt and uncle, Debbie & Dick Totten and cousins, Andy Totten, Krissy Galella, Heather Simcox (and their families) of Carroll; aunt, Betty Bruce of Canal Winchester; uncle and aunt, Larry & Susie Landis of Texas; uncle and cousin, Jeff and Erin Morrison of Las Vegas, NV; uncle and aunt, Brent & Nancy Morrison of Massachusetts; aunt and uncle, Pam & Hugo del Canto of Virginia; step-grandparents, Shirley & Charlie Evans of Lancaster; uncles Doug Evans, Todd Evans and Travis Evans (and their families). Carrie had many more family members and step-family that loved and will always miss her. Carrie also had many friends from her work place that will miss her as well. Preceded in death by grandparents, Jack & Dorothy Wilkins and Robert & Patricia Morrison; and great-grandmother, Frances Landis.
Carrie was a member of Peace Free Lutheran Church in Canal Winchester. Pastor Curtis Emerson will be officiating her service at 11 am Tuesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester. The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
The family sends a special thanks to the medical staff of the surgical ICU unit at OSU Medical Center for their care and concern. Carrie gave the gift of life through organ donation, and friends are encouraged to donate to Lifeline of Ohio in her memory. Online condolences at www.spencefuneralhome.com

i grew up with Carrie i knew her from the 5th grade to the day she passed away she was an amazing girl on thhe inside and out she wasn't only my classmate my friend but she was my best friend the day i lost her i lost myself Carrie there isn't a day that goes by that i dont think of u the smallest memories make me miss u i still cry to this day u were a big impact in my life u saved my life on multiple occasions i know its been 6 yrs now but i still remember the day we lost u from our life's and i still hate it i miss you so much and bob and kay im also very sorry for your loss she was a remarkable girl i miss u everyday thank u for everything u have done for me carrie i love you and ill always remember the great times and ill never forget the smile you had that lit up the world rip my guardian angel fly high 5/27/93 to 1/4/12 never will forget you

I didn't know Carrie all that well, but I went to school, and graduated with her. She was such a sweet, nice, and beautiful girl. This was such a tragic thing that happened. She is very much missed.. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to all of her family and friends.

I really enjoyed having Carrie in class. She was a hard worker and always did her best to succeed. I also coached her in basketball and she had a great will to accomplish her goals. I'm sure her parents and family are proud of the young lady she became. She was definitely one of the bright lights in this world and will be greatly missed. I'm so sorry for your loss.

To the Family of Carrie,
My father in Law has been in kidney failure for 6 years and was told that his heart was too weak to under go a transplant unless they were to find a heart as well. Wedneday night, My father in law was called and said they had found a match.He wld recieve a heart and kidney from a young donor that was in a tragic accident. That was all OSU medical center cld tell us about his life saver. While in the waiting room for a 6-8 hr surgery, I picked up the paper and read the story of carrie's tragedy. We have no idea if this is truly where my father in laws miracle came from but it an extreme close relation. If this is the donor that saved my father in law, my family and I are extremely grateful and wld like to thank this beautiful girl.. and if it is not, I wld just like to say that she is truly a life saver because the feelings i have experienced after seeings my father in law the last few days are very indescribable and I am sure that whoever this young girl helped, feels the same. I am so sorry for the family's loss but if she did give my father in law a heart... he heart will ALWAYS remain alive!

I didn't know Carrie at all but when I heard of her passing I started to cry. I live in the town where the accident occurred.
