Kay Crook

LANCASTER: L. Kay Crook, 73, passed away Friday January 23, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center. She attended Faith Memorial Church and was a member of Olivedale Senior Center.

Kay is survived by loving husband of 56 years, Thomas Crook; daughter, Donna (Jim) Averill; son, Dale (Lori) Crook; grandchildren, Erik (Aimee) Averill and Laura Averill; great granddaughter, Brynnlee Averill; brother, Mark (Robyn) Jividen; sister, Darla (Ted) Reedy; aunt, Jean Gray, nieces; nephews; brothers-in-law; and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vance Jividen; mother, Phyllis Summers; step mother, Lucille Jividen.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathon Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Private burial will be at the family convenience in Lithopolis Cemetery.
