Joyce Miller
STOUTSVILLE: Joyce Miller, 84, of Stoutsville, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born May 24, 1930 in Lancaster and was the daughter of the late Boyd and Clara (Stump) Stebelton.
Joyce was a retired cook from Amanda Clearcreek Schools, member of Fairview U.M. Church, Eastern Star and Clearcreek Twp. Fire Department Auxiliary. She graduated from Amanda H.S. in 1948 with perfect attendance.
She is survived by her children, Becki Gentzel of Stoutsville, Mike (Diane) Miller of Amanda and Rachael Reeder of Stoutsville; grandchildren, Matt (Maria) Gentzel, Mark (Tiffany) Gentzel, Colleen (Jon) Edge, Aaron Miller, John Miller, Renae (Brian Robb) Reeder and Ryan Reeder; great grandchildren, Claudia Grace Gentzel, Mayzie Elise Gentzel, Stephen Charles Gentzel, Mason Levi Gentzel, and Raelyn Dell Robb; brother, Carl Stebelton of Amanda; sister, Janice (Clarence) LeVan of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Teresa Stebelton of Middletown and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Maynard Miller; son, Steve Miller; son-in-law, Rodger Reeder; brothers, Tom, Bob, John, Ronnie, and Roger Stebelton.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with pastors Keith Deel and Jim Corbitt officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Stoutsville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 4-8 P.M. and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
The family requests memorial contributions to The James Cancer Hospital, The Maynard Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund at Fairview U.M. Church, or the Clearcreek Twp. E.M.S. in Joyce's memory.
