SUGAR GROVE: Raymond Harry Bee, 86 of Sugar Grove passed away on Saturday August 31, 2013 at the Pickering House.
He was born on February 24, 1927 in Columbus to the late Sherman and Edith (Miller) Bee.
Ray served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Airplane and Engine Mechanic for 747. He worked at Boeing North American for 35 years, and was the co owner of the Lancaster Foreign Car Service Volkswagens in Sugar Grove. Ray was very proud of the 38 years he was in recovery and all the people he sponsored over the years. Ray loved riding his motorcycles on vacations and with the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Anna S. Bee; daughters, Lynny (Pound) Bee, and Rita (Bill) Free; step children, Melissa (Don) Anderson, David (Tabby) McCoy; grandchildren, Kris Keen, Jamey Bee, Alex McCoy, Tiffany McCoy, Dakota McCoy; great grandchildren, Jessica (Bill) Edgington, Johnathan Finkbiner, Amanda Keen, Kristen Bee; great great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Cole, Daryn, Zachery, Allxus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step son Robert McCoy, and granddaughter Kelly Bee.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30am Wednesday September 4, 2013 at the Sheridan Funeral Home. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be on Tuesday September 3, 2013 from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
