Ruby Christy Obituary
LANCASTER: Ruby Virginia Christy, 94, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Bickford Senior Living. She was born August 7, 1921 in Fairfield County to the late Charley R. and Clara Belle (Lindsey) Kinser. Ruby was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and was a homemaker and former bookkeeper for Joe Christy Well Drilling.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Angie) Christy of Lancaster; grandchildren, Aaron (Liz) Christy of Pickerington and Alesia (Chris) Miller of Pataskala; great grand children, Carly and Joey Christy and Kaitlin and Jacob Miller; brother, Charles (Eva) Kinser; sisters, Norma Jean (Don) Kraft, Carolyn (Lloyd) Eads; sister-in-law, Marjorie Kinser all of Lancaster; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Christy; daughter, Nancy (Christy) Smith; and brother, Merle Kinser.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Diana Gugel officiating. Burial to follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
The family request memorial contributions to the Lutheran Food Pantry, Our Savior Lutheran Church, or Fairhope Hospice in Ruby's memory. Friends can share a memory at www.mytaylorfuneralhome.com

We are so very sorry that you have lost a truly wonderful mother, grandmother and ggreatgrandmother. Knowing all the birthday parties and holidays you spent with her, a huge hole will be in your hearts. However, you have so many memories of her dry wit, mannerisms and funny unexpected comments to comfort you. So very sorry that you have lost a lovely lady.
