Malcolm Charles Ames passed away at home peacefully after 84 years of life on Friday the 24th of October 2014. Malcolm was born in the village of Radlett U.K. in 1930 to Richard and Doris Ames he grew up with his two brothers Peter and Tony just north of London. He married his loving wife Eileen in Shenley U.K. in 1954 and they along with their children Timothy ( Husband Julian ) and Simon emigrated to Canada in 1967. They settled in the community of Beach Grove, Tsawwassen in 1969 and have resided there ever since. Malcolm's happiness in life came from his many dear friends and family, Malcolm contributed to his community through his volunteer work with Lifeline and at the Delta Hospital Thrift Shop. We would like to thank the members of the Delta Police force and Paramedics for their wonderful gracious understanding and support. The family will have a private gathering to celebrate Malcolm's life.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard, but
always near
Still Loved, still missed and very dear.
