Darlene Lynn Clyde, 70, of Bardstown, formerly of Louisville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at University of Louisville Hospital.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bedford and Sarah Bowling Spurlock; two sisters, Euna Weddle and Christine Spurlock; and two brothers, Virgil Spurlock and Eugene Spurlock
She is survived by her husband, Bennie Clyde; three daughters, Debra (Carl) Alvey of Floyd's Knobs, Ind., Kelly (Juan) Vega of Bardstown and Kristine (Matt) Holden of Weston, Fla.; a son, Barry (Geneta) Clyde of Mt. Washington; a sister, Iva Jewell Brown of Tennessee; three brothers, Maynard and Leon Spurlock both of Louisville and Albert Bedford Spurlock of Florida; 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Gordon McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
