Mary Alice Munday Chelf, 79, of Magnolia, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was a member of Magnolia Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and was retired from Elizabethtown Sportswear after 48 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Linn Conrad "Connie" Chelf; and her parents, Richard and Gussie DeSpain Munday.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Denise) Chelf of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Michael Shane (Andrea) Chelf and Marc Shawn Chelf, all of Houston, Texas; a great-grandson, Grayson Luke Chelf; three sisters, Marcus Faulkner of Clarksville, Ind., Margaret Robertson of Buffalo, and Zora Tharp of Louisville; and three brothers, William Munday of Virginia, Eugene Munday of Indiana, and Joseph Munday of Taylorsville.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with the Rev. Anthony Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

It's been many years since I had the honor or serving Connie and Mary at Druther's in Hodgenville. May they both Rest in Peace and my condolences to the family.
