Rafferty, Annetta (Shelton)  
Annetta Shelton Rafferty, 82, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at her residence. She retired as a supervisor from the Kentucky unemployment office after 48 years of service, was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church, Hodgenville Homemakers, Hodgenville Lions Club and Christian Prayer Connection; was an ambassador to The Lincoln Museum and an active participant in LaRue County Relay for Life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Ray Rafferty; and her parents, Hubert Lewis and Eva Irwin Shelton. She is survived by a daughter, Vicki (Nick) Polio of Louisville; a son, Ronnie (Tami) Rafferty of Fayetteville, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Brock Rafferty, Eli Rafferty, Holli Rae Rafferty, Nikki Polio and Marissa Polio; and a brother, Charles (Jean) Shelton of Elizabethtown. The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Bob Boster officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
