Duane Ford

Duane Ford, 61, of Buffalo, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at his residence.
He was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church; retired mail carrier for the Hodgenville Post Office; and a member of the LaRue County Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Ray Ford; and a brother, Donald Ray Ford.
He is survived by a daughter, Dara (Robbie) Cottrill of Louisville; a son, Derek (Debi) Ford of Hodgenville; his mother, Wanda Ford of Hodgenville; four grandchildren, Brooks Brackett, Curtis Ford, Carris Ford and Will Cottrill; two sisters, Teresa (Herb) Brown of Versailles and Sheila Ford of Buffalo; a brother, Ricky (Renea) Ford of Campbellsville and a half-sister, Kim (Woody) Meredith of Green County.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Gordon McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Church Cemetery in Mount Sherman.
Visitation is 3:30 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the "Duane Ford Youth Sports Memorial," in care of Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home, 208 W. Water St., Hodgenville, KY 42748. This program will help to fund the LaRue County Little League programs and the LaRue County Golf Team.
