Marvin Ray Hunter, 69, of Buffalo, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at University of Louisville Hospital.

He was a member of Hodgenville United Methodist Church; an Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era; retired supervisor for Gates Rubber Company in Elizabethtown and a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ruby Whitlow Hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Weston Hunter; a daughter, Kim (Rodney) Strange of Buffalo; a son, Gary (Kelly) Hunter of Thomasville, N.C.; five grandchildren, Megan (Billy) Thompson, Jordan Strange, Bethany Hunter, Natalie Hunter and Melissa Grant; five great-grandchildren, Emma, Bella, Skyler, Shianne Thompson and Macy Strange; four sisters, Dolores Hahn of Lexington, Yvonne (Ray) McDowell, Wanda (John) Poteet and Sharon (Rondal) Wright, all of Hodgenville.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Revs. Bob Howell and Wallace Votaw officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
