Alvin L. Clan 53, of Hodgenville, passed away Thursday August 3, 2017 at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, TN.??
He was born in Bardstown to Artie and Doris Brey Clan. He was a Truck Driver for Pepper Farms. Alvin loved his family and his dogs. He was a hard worker, an avid coffee drinker. Alvin had a joke for every occasion.
He was preceded in death by his parents.??He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Clan of Hodgenville; four daughters, Rachel Marie (Matthew Grey) Clan of Cecilia, and Amanda Faye (Nick) Clan Lamb of Elizabethtown, Nicky (Dennis) Chavel of Cecilia and Ashlea (Kevin) Lyons of Cecilia; one sister, Anna Faye (Bobby) Dye of Lexington; six brothers, Jerry Lee Clan of Elizabethtown, KY, Dennis (Barbara) Clan of Elizabethtown, Larry (Elizabeth) Clan of Rineyville, Scottie (Angel) Clan of Elizabethtown, Lonnie (Cindy) Clan of Bardstown and Martie (Leslee) Clan of Cecilia; four Grandchildren, Jackson, Wyatt, John Tyler, and Wyatt. His beloved dogs, Boo-Boo, Gizmo, Charlie, and Grand Dogs, Ryder, and Nannie.??
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora with Reverend Daryl Pepper and Ray Alan Mackey officiating. Burial will be held at the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. or Monday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora.
