Bradley French Jr., 90, of Hodgenville, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, after a brief illness.

He was born April 15, 1924 in LaRue County. He was the son of Bradley and Annie Whitlock French Sr.
Bradley was a World War II Army veteran, retired from General Electric after 30 years of service, a devout farmer of the land that he loved so much, a member of Nolynn Baptist Church, a clogger with the Lincoln Cloggers, member of B.R. Young Lodge #132 F&AM, and a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bradley and Annie French Sr.; and a son, Larry R. French.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 69 years, Kathleen Maxine Warren French; three sons, Ronnie (Jean) French and Brent (Sara Rose) French, all of Hodgenville, Doug (Denise) French of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Valarie (Tom) Logue of Louisville; a daughter-in-law, Debbie French of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Eugene (Margie) French of Hodgenville; 11 grandchildren, Darren (Tabitha) French, Sonya French-Foster, Chad (Kellee) French, Brooke (Josh) Wright, Josh (Angel) French, Luke French, Chelsea (John) Weber, Connor Logue, Jacob Bradley French, Abigail French and Rachel French; six great-grandchildren, Tyler Foster, Peyton Foster, Corbin Wright, Cooper Wright, Phillip French and Alex French; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. George Smith and Rev. Dan Flanagan officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
