Clifford Lee Figg, 81, of Tulare, Calif., died April 25, 2013, in Vasalia, Calif.
Gunnery Sgt. Clifford Lee Figg served 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and fought in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He also was a country music entertainer.
After his military retirement he opened two "Charlie Pizza" restaurants in Radcliff and Hodgenville and he later opened two more restaurants in Oceanside, Calif., and Atascadero, Calif.
He is survived by a son, David Figg; and two daughters, Debbie Figg Soto and Patricia Figg; a sister, Wanda Figg Carter of Glendale; and a brother, Bill Figg of Lebanon Junction.
A memorial is at noon Saturday, June 22, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction. Burial follows in Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
