Elinor Ann Hisle Routt, 81, widow of William Warren Routt, passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014 in Lexington, at the Richmond Place Health & Rehab Center.

Born on May 8, 1932 in Madison County, she was a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Lexington and also attended the Red House Baptist Church in Richmond. Mrs. Routt was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include one son, Michael Routt (Marie) of Nicholasville; three daughters, Sharon Routt of Richmond, Donna Goodnight (Jimmy) of Georgetown, and Linda Routt, formerly of Richmond; six grandchildren, Troy (Katrina), Erica (Shane), Kathryn, Marta, Kristen and Brandon; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her husband William Warren Routt, she is preceded in death by her parents, James Lanter and Ethel Mae Turpin Hisle; one sister, Martha Louise Hisle Lyon; and one brother, James W. Hisle.
The funeral is 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bonnie Myers officiating the services. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Private burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
