Elizabeth "Libby" Metcalf Moyer, 85, of Magnolia, passed away, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after 34 years of service, member of LaRue Baptist Church in Hodgenville and a proud 1960 LaRue County High School graduate.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Metcalf and Wayne Moyer; a sister, Anna Mae Benningfield and her parents, William "Willie" Lee and Mary Ellen Jarvis Lawrence.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Sammy) Slayton of Magnolia and Sharon (Gary) Ellenson of Elizabethtown; a grandson, Stephen Slayton of Versailles; a step-granddaughter, Tessa Metcalf; two great-grandchildren, Lily Slayton and Ethan Slayton and a step-great-grandson, Donovan Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Brother Ben Benningfield, Pastor Donald Kennedy and Brother Rodney Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
