Garnett Shuffett, 94, of Hodgenville, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
He was a member of Lincoln Memorial Baptist Church, a farmer and an Army veteran of Wolrd War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audry Parker Shuffett; his daughter, Sandy DeSpain; his parents, John and Annis Randols Shuffett; a sister, Christine Jewell; and a brother, Morris Shuffett.
He is survived by his grandson, Michael (Jennifer) DeSpain of Campbellsville; a great-grandson, Jacob DeSpain of Campbellsville; and his son-in-law, Donohue DeSpain of Buffalo.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Lincoln Memorial Baptist Church with Bro. Tom Downey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
