Harry Michael Coffey, 56, of Hodgenville, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at his residence.
He was a member of Union Christian Church, a lifetime member of AQHA, a member of the LaRue County Saddle Club and was instrumental in the training of several award winning quarter horses; an avid coon hunter with memberships in the Cherry Tree and North Central KY Coon Hunters Clubs; his other interests include farming and tractor pulling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Georgia Stillwell Coffey.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Coffey; his daughter, Carey Lynne Coffey of Hodgenville; two sisters, Sharon (Roy) Hornback of Elizabethtown and Renee Coffey of Hodgenville and a brother, Billy Coffey of Hodgenville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Brother Steve Campbell and Reverend Billy Curle officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 29 and after 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 30 at the funeral home.
