Helen Cromwell Duncan, 86, of Hodgenville, passed away, Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.
She was a member of Salem Christian Church in Hodgenville and the LaRue County Homemakers; was a homemaker and formerly worked at Middleton and Marcum's Five and Dime and the LaRue County Clerk's Office.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie Reed Cromwell; a sister, Frances Eans and two brothers, George Edward Brown, Sr. and Curtis Cromwell.
Helen is survived by her husband of 51 years, Billy Duncan; two daughters, Deana Duncan McNary and Marsha Duncan both of Hodgenville; a brother, Melvin (Jennie) Cromwell of Sonora and three grandchildren, Whitley Duncan, Jayden Duncan and Hallee McNary.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Brother Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
