James Greg Whitlock, 58, of Hodgenville passed away Thursday July 21, 2016 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Greg was a former deacon, youth leader and member at Eastview Baptist Church and he was an avid Harley Rider. He was a self-employed consultant. He was born July 11, 1958 to the late James Donald Whitlock and his mother Anna Joyce Salsman Whitlock.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Donald Whitlock.
He is survived by his mother, Anna Joyce Whitlock of Hodgenville; three sons, James Adam Whitlock of Hodgenville, Jacob Andrew (Rhonda) Whitlock of Bonnieville and Chance McCrae Whitlock of Cecilia; four daughters, Amie (Glen) Wells of Loretta, Ashley (Michael) Rigdon of Cecilia, Summer (Chase) Cruse of Upton, and Jayma "Landon" Whitlock of Columbia; one brother, Dwayne (Debbie) Whitlock of Hodgenville; one sister, Theresa Whitlock McDowell of Buffalo; Mothers of his children, Lisa Williamson, Alice Wheeler, and ex-wife Lydia Switzer Whitlock; his children, Chad (Brittany) Maupin, and Madison (Tommy) England, sixteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 25 at the William R. Rust Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Reverend William Curle officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery in Buffalo.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 24 from noon to 8 p.m. and Monday, July 25 after 9 a.m. until the time of services.
