James Thomas "J.T." Mouser, 88, of Culvertown, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at his residence.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Culvertown, an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and retired from the Kentucky?State Highway Transportation Department after more than 30 years of service.
He was born April 24, 1925, the son of the late James Joseph and Ruby Woods Mouser.
He is survived by three sons, Gene (Sheila) Mouser of Shepherdsville, Joe (Lois)?Mouser of Bloomfield and Troy Mouser of Hodgenville; five daughters, Phyliss (Paul) Crutcher of Simpsonville, Vonnie (Doug) Russell of Louisville, Vickey (Joe) Ball of Greenbrier, Tenn., Terri (Mark)?Ballard of Louisville and Frankie (Rusty) Wimsett of New Haven; a sister, Sister Carlene Mouser of Nazareth Home in Louisville; 20 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven with the Rev.?Troy?Overton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military rites provided by the Marion County Honor Guard.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Friday,?July 19, and 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Prayer service is 5:30 p.m. July 19, in the chapel of William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St., New Haven, with the Deacon Eddie Hutchins officiating.
