Lewis DeSpain, 73, of Mount Sherman, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at his residence.
He was a farmer, and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Lucy Thompson DeSpain; a sister, Jeanette DeSpain; and two brothers, Jerry DeSpain and Calvin DeSpain.
He is survived by his wife, Elva DeSpain; four sons, Billy DeSpain and Delbert (Sherry) Graham, all of Mount Sherman, Gilbert (Janet) Graham of Summersville, and Mike (Carla) Graham of Sonora; two sisters, Edna DeSpain and Susie DeSpain both of Mount Sherman; two brothers, Harold DeSpain and Ron DeSpain, both of Mount Sherman; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Bro. Guy Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Sherman Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
