Marvin Douglas "Doug" Hilton, 61, of Hodgenville, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at his home.

He was a native of Hardin County and a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. He was retired from Hardin County Schools, where he was a teacher for 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Hicks Hilton.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Brill Hilton; a daughter and son-in-law, Shauna and Matt Johnson of Elizabethtown; his mother, Polly Hilton of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Kevin Hilton and Craig Hilton, both of Elizabethtown; a sister, Carolyn Aubrey of Burns, Tenn.; three grandchildren, McKenna, Macy and Megan Johnson; a brother-in-law, Roy (Joyce) Brill of Elizabethtown; and a niece, Lisa (Bryan) Kimbro of Burns, and their two children, Aubrey and Ashton.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 1:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday and continues at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
