Mary Lois Greenwell Harned, 86, of Louisville, formerly of Lyons Station, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Baptist East in Louisville.
She was a member of the St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven. She worked 46 years for the Elizabethtown Laundry and Dry Cleaning in the uniform department.
Lois was born July 22, 1931 to the late Thomas Gonza and Inez Philomena Hagan Greenwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Harned; one son, William Paul Harned; four brothers, Donald Greenwell, Junior Greenwell, Noel Greenwell and Reggie Greenwell and three sisters Janice Bailey, Wanda Donaghy and Carol Isaacs.
Lois is survived by her four daughters, Jeanette (Barry) Anderson, Kathy (Steve) Alexander and Debbie (Harrell) Tague all of Lousiville and Betty Tomes of Guston; one son, Fred (Sandy) Harned of Lyons Station, ten grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mass of Christian burial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven with Reverend Scott Wimsett officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28 and from 8 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the William R. Rust Funeral Home in New Haven.
