Mildred L. Poore Finn, 83, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Mildred was born March 9, 1933 to the late Edmon and Martha Miller Poore
Mildred retired from Dow Corning in Elizabethtown with several years of service. Mildred was a life long member of South Fork Baptist Church and she loved her church. Mildred was a loving, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to travel and see the sites.
Mildred was preceded in death, by her parents, four brothers, Charles, Jesse, Reuben and Ben Poore; one sister, Aileen Gotchall.
Mildred is survived by, her husband, Omer Finn of Hodgenville; two sons, Michael and Mark Cruse (Jada) of Dyer Tenn.; a daughter, Annette (Rick) Cruse Staples of Hodgenville; one sister, Frances Rice of Elizabethtown; five stepchildren, five grandchildren, five step grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several step great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Funeral services for Mildred L. Poore Finn, will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel with Brother Jonathan Carl officiating. Burial will follow in the South Fork Church Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation for Mildred L. Poore Finn will be Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Monday after 9 a.m. until the time of service.
