Odis Ray Burroughs, 58 of Hodgenville, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the
University of Louisville Hospital.
He was a native of Hammond, IN, served in the U. S. Navy and a member of
First Christian Church. He was a Limited Medical Radiology Tech. at Care
First in Radcliff and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford A. and Catherine
Featherston Burroughs and his birth mother, Peggy Stamper.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Florence Burroughs; one son, Rocky
(Nedra) Cundiff of Hodgenville; three daughters, Theresa Cort of Lexington,
Erin (Bryon) Hodges of Hodgenville and AO3 Michelle (Ken) Trapnell, US Navy
stationed at Norfolk, VA; three brothers, Rickey (Judy) Burroughs of
Lexington, Harry Wayne Green of Lyons, IL and Rayme Leonhardt of Pueblo
West, CO; two sisters, Diana (Steve) Green of Merrillville, IN and Laurie
(Jim) LaBranche of Greensboro, NC; 16 grandchildren,1 great grandchild and
numerous close friends that he loved dearly.
The funeral will be Saturday at 12 noon at Brown Funeral Home with Bro.
Steve Campbell and Bro. Davey Graham officiating.
Burial will follow in Union Christian Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 15 and continue after 9 am Saturday
at the funeral home.
