Ronald Odell Metcalf, 62, of Hodgenville, passed away on July 9, 2015 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was a retired construction worker with Chick J M Company in Bowling Green. He was an avid University of Louisville Cardinal fan, a hunter, fisherman, and an arrowhead collector.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Metcalf and Irene Thompson Metcalf, and a brother, Roger Elmer Metcalf.

He is survived by a sister, Brenda (Willie) Boblitt of Hodgenville, a niece, Melissa (Scott) Gardner of Magnolia, a nephew, Michael (Charaye Routt) Milby of Hodgenville, a great-niece, Peyton Gardner, and two great-nephews, Dylan Milby and Jake Gardner.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 12 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Brother Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m.on Saturday, July 11 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 12 at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home.
