Rosalie (Metcalf) Bell, 97, of Wyanet died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Heritage Health in Walnut.
Born February 9, 1919 in Athertonville, KY to the late Charles and Eunice Metcalf.
Rosalie is survived by her four daughters, June Hosier of Virginia, Louise (Pete) DeVries of California, Beverly (Harry) Moore of Kewanee and Janice (Richard) Bulthuis of Wyanet. She was blessed with 25 grandchildren, 41 great- grandchildren and 14 great- great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tom Bell; step-daughter, Donna Jean; son- in law, Wayne Hosier; her five brothers and four sisters, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church for over 60 years. She worked at Hollywood Vasserette and Perry Memorial Hospital and retired from Harper Wyman in 1981.
In the late 1950s, Rosalie and her former husband Donald Bell managed the Blue Ribbon Luncheonette located in Hodgenville, KY.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8 at Grant- Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 9 also held at Grant- Johnson Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery in Wyanet.
