Sharon Talley Bowman, 53, of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.

A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and a friend to all, she was a member of Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church, a 1979 graduate of Hart County High School, and a graduate of Sullivan University.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fraudie Talley.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny T. Bowman; a son, James Bowman of Magnolia; her mother, Lillian Talley of Magnolia; seven siblings, Howard (Marilyn) Talley of St. Louis, Missouri, Luther Franklin (Leslie) Talley of Titusville, Florida, Glinda (Jack)Talley Hill of Washington, North Carolina, Beatrice (J. Robert) Mahan of Blacksburg, Virginia, Roger Talley of Columbus, Ohio, Damon (Janet) Talley of Hodgenville and Lavada (John) Wells of Indianapolis, Indiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral is 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Roger McGuffin officiating. Private burial will follow in the Hammonsville Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Due to severe allergies, the family requests no flowers.
