Thelma Olita Kessinger, 95, of Sonora, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Hart County Health Care in Horse Cave.

She was a homemaker and a long time member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Guy Kessinger; her parents, John and Shirley Walters Wilson; six brothers, Overt Wilson, Wymon Wilson, Lee Wilson, Arnold Wilson, Eldon Wilson and Essie Wilson; one sister, Irene Avery; one grand-daughter, Madonna Hamilton; and one grandson, David Sullivan.
She is survived by two daughters, Wilma (Rufus) Sullivan and Brenda (Richard) Heaton, all of Sonora; four sisters, Dorothy Jean Price of Tucson, Ariz., Hartsel Reynolds and Velma Thomas, both of Horse Cave and Freda Humphrey of Branden-burg; one grandson, Michael Sullivan of New Haven; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora with the Rev. Randy Buckles officiating. Burial follows in Smith Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continues from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
