Thomas Jerry Clark, 65, of Sonora, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at his residence.

He was a native of New Hope, served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and retired after 34 years as a supervisor from General Electric.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Benny and Mary L. Mattingly Clark; a brother, Joe Clark; and two sisters, Margie Curlee and Charlotte Clark.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Henrietta Lake Clark; two sons, Jason Clark and Tom (Judy) Clark Jr., all of Louisville; a stepson, Bob (Janis) Coffman of Memphis, Ind.; two brothers, Ben (Cathy) Clark and Jim (Bonnie) Clark, all of Louisville; three sisters, Jo Ann (Jerry) Johnson of San Antonio, Patty Cecil of Florida and Shirley Marcum of Louisville; six grandchildren, Nikki, T.J., Dustin, Tiffany, Bailey and Cameryn; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hazel and Ed Fulkerson of Sonora; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Matthew Hardesty officiating. Burial follows in Summit United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
