Wilma June Brown, 78, of Hodgenville, passed away, Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was retired from Bussman and Cooper Electric and a member of Glendale Christian Church. Much of her life was spent with her church family, cross-stitching ornaments and reading scripture.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Bryant and Sibyl Edith Busroe Sherrard; two grandsons, James Michael Keys and Christopher Brangers II; two sisters, Audrey Gardner and Sue Catlett; a brother, Wilbur Sherrard and a sister-in-law, Jenny Sherrard.
Grandma June leaves memories and laughter to be of comfort to her husband Junior Brown; four sons, Greg (Debbie) Brangers of Iowa, Christopher Brangers of Illinois, Rickey (Debbie) Brown of Elizabethtown and Charlie (Jenny) Brown of Flaherty; a daughter, Michelle (Jeff) Oliver of Florida; a brother-in-law, Kenny Catlett of Louisville; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Glendale Christian Church with Reverend Mike Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 and after 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
