William Howard "Lefty" Warren Jr., 67, of Hodgenville, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
Lefty was born July 8, 1945, in Hodgenville. He is the son of the late William Howard Warren Sr. and Helen Dorsey.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hodgenville; a U.S. Navy veteran, serving several years; worked at the LaRue County School system in maintenance for 20 years; and attended LaRue County High School.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria J. Warren.
Lefty is survived by his loving companion, Linda Andrews of Hodgenville; two daughters, Kay Andrews of Hodgenville and Constance Faye (Teddy C.) Andrews Ramirez of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two brothers, Kermit (Cheryl) Preston of Louisville and Robert (Evelyn) Handley of Remington, Del.; three sisters, Marsha Handley and Lestine Spencer, both of Louisville, and Monica (Eddie) Howard of Louisville.
The funeral for William Howard "Lefty" Warren is 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Hodgenville with the Rev. Elder Jerry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Hubbard Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Donald Scaggs, Steve Phillips, Andre Weathers, Kerwin Weathers, Rodney Montgomery Jr. and Cory Lawler.
Honorary pallbearers are Dale Embree, Henry Embree, Jason Lee and Antoino Sepple.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the chapel of Rust-Wright Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
Rust-Wright Funeral Home, 612 N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville, is in charge of arrangements.
