Faye Parker Brown, 93, of Bardstown, formerly of Hodgenville, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Hodgenville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gus Brown; her parents, Jack and May Vaughn Parker; a sister, Audry Shuffett; two brothers, Arvin Parker and Bernis Parker; and a grandson, Jason David William Brown.
She is survived by her son, David (Connie) Brown of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Christie (Todd) Ramsey of Louisville and Mandie Whigham of Bardstown; three great-grandchildren, Brooke Taylor Ramsey, Madison Julene Ramsey and Zachary Carson Whigham; and a sister, Geneva (Burch) Burchfield of Somerset.
The funeral is noon Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home until time for services.
