Todd B. Hare left this world on October 2, 2012. Todd was born at Letterman Army Hospital, San Francisco, April 2, 1968. He joined the Navy in 1987 after graduating from Eastwood High School in El Paso and served as a corpsman and surgical technician. He was stationed on the USS New Orleans during the 1990 Gulf War. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1997 and returned home to El Paso. Todd fought brain cancer for 6 years. He leaves his wife, Becky, a CT Technician at MVRMC, two sons; Zach of Sugarland, Texas and Ryan of Saluda, S.C. His father Wilfred Hare of Saluda, S.C. and mother, Gerlinde Hare of El Paso, Texas. His sister, Yvonne of Saluda, S.C. He is also survived by three step-children; Elizabeth McNakon of Memphis, T.N., Wendy Horton and Billy Horton of Las Cruces.
Todd will be cremated and his ashes will be interred at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at a later date. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, October 7, 2012 at La Paz - Graham's Funeral Home, 555 W. Amador from 2 - 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mesilla Valley Hospice.
