Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Pablo T. Moncada, 89, of Rodey, New Mexico, entered eternal life Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Casa De Oro Care Center. He was born to Tomas and Juanita Telles Moncada on July 3, 1923 in Picacho, New Mexico. Mr. Moncada served his country honorably in the United States Army during World War II and was decorated with the Army of Occupation Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

Those left to mourn his passing include his loving wife, Isabel Gabaldon Moncada of the family home; three sons, Pablo Moncada Jr. of Lakewood, California, Tom Moncada of Rodey, Greg Moncada and wife Irinea of Riverside, California; a daughter, Mary Castañeda and husband Sam of Las Cruces; two sisters, Andrea Steril of Compton, California, Cecilia Ybarra of Monrovia, California. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Sammy, Orlando and Amanda Castañeda; a great granddaughter, Anisa Uranga. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Services have been held. The Rite of Committal and Interment followed in the Rodey Cemetery with military honors accorded by a New Mexico National Guard Honor Guard and the Marine Corps League-El Perro Diablo Detachment.
