Patricio W. Chavez, 64, passed on Friday, May 3, 2013.
He is survived by his children, Gina Chavez and Matthew Chavez; long-term partner, Edwina Garcia and her two sons, Adam and Aaron; siblings and their families, Felix, Miguel, Juan, Amadeo, Lucia, Bernabe Jr., and Alfredo's widow, Carla.
Patricio was predeceased by his parents, Bernabe and Rosa Valerio Chavez and brother, Alfredo Chavez.
Patricio's life celebration began with a visitation followed by a rosary Tuesday at the Shrine of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church. Mass was celebrated Thursday, also at St. Bernadette's, followed by committal service at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
