Corrine Agripena Westenhaver, 74, of Guymon, Okla., passed away Monday morning, Aug. 19, 2013, at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
The daughter of Atanacio and Ramona Montano (Baca), she was born May 12, 1939, in Ojitos Frios. She attended school in Las Vegas, New Mexico, OPSU in Goodwell, and Liberal, Kans.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two children: Karen Taylor Smith and Jesse Taylor; two grandchildren: Paul Carillo and Emalee Taylor, and three brothers: Manuel, Anthony and Raymond Montaño.
Survivors include her husband, Royce Westen-haver of the home; seven children, Mona Finkeldei of Dodge City, Kan., Roy Taylor of Guymon, Christopher Taylor of Guymon, Kiili Westenhaver of Pueblo, Colo., Mitchell Taylor of Guymon, Christina Westenhaver of Great Bend, Kan. and Enrico Taylor of Norman, Okla.; two step-children, Royce Westenhaver Jr., and Teresa Briesch both of Woodward, Okla. Survivors also include one brother, Leroy Montano of Guymon; five sisters: Mary Ann Ruiz of Phoenix, Ariz., Fabby Cluck of Las Animas, Colo., Jean Hemphill of Littleton, Colo., Florinda Reed of Littleton, and Mabel Garcia of Guymon; 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Rosary services were held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bunch-Roberts Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. today (Friday) at the St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church with Father Mike Wheelahan, celebrant. Family interment will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
