Arthur R. Crespin, 74, a life-long resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruby Gold Crespin; three brothers, Edward, Ignacio, and Richard Crespin; and two sisters, Rosie Lovato and Tessie Garcia.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Priscilla of the family home; three sons, Manuel Crespin and wife Theresa, Paul Crespin and wife Yolanda, and Carlos Crespin and wife Elizabeth all of Las Vegas; two daughters: Cindy Trujillo and Louie and Arabella Sanchez and husband Frank all of Rio Rancho; a sister, Mary Louise Samaniego of Hartley, Iowa; and by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was the owner and operator of Crespin's Paving and Concrete Company since 1989. He enjoyed playing cards and cooking as well as restoring old cars and trucks. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today (Friday) from St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd.
Services will be held on Saturday from Our Lady of Sorrows Church, beginning with a rosary at 9 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Father Douglas Mitchell will celebrate the mass. The interment will follow in the San Jose Cemetery, with the following relatives serving as casket bearers: David Crespin, Jeffrey Trujillo, Carlos Crespin Jr., Mario Sanchez, Manuel Crespin, Louie Trujillo, Arturo Crespin and Ronnie Crespin. Mathew Trujillo will be an honorary bearer.
