Brandilyn Vigil, 15, a lifetime resident of Mora passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 in Ocate.

She was born July 3, 1997 in Las Vegas to Barney Vigil and Beverly Dobbins. She was a sophomore at Wagon Mound High School. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, riding four wheelers and listening to music.

She was preceded in death by her father: Barney J. Vigil; maternal grandmother: Barbara Dobbins; paternal grandfather: Barney Vigil.

She is survived by her mother: Beverly Dobbins Montoya and husband Greg of the family home in Watrous; brothers: Beau Vigil, Brady Vigil, and Camden Montoya all of Watrous; sister: Baileyann Montoya of Watrous; maternal grandfather: Roy Dobbins and wife Patsy of Stevenson, Ala.; paternal grandmother: Laura Vigil of Ojo Feliz; step-grandmother: Therese Cassidy and Matthew of Rio Rancho; aunts: Bonnye Black of Springfield, Ill., Belinda Oliver and husband Tony of Denver, Colo.; uncle: Phillip Vigil of Questa; cousins: Kaitlin Vigil of Cleveland, Breanne Clair and husband Michael of Springfield, Ill., Ben Black and wife Summer of Springfield, Ill., Brandon Oliver of Texas, Dacia Barrow and husband Dustin of Denver, Colo.; special friend: Geraldo Trujillo of Ocate and numerous other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at Calvary Chapel of Las Vegas, 2310 7th St. in Las Vegas with Pastor Robbie Scott officiating. Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains will be held at a later date.
