Chuck was born in Clovis, attended Clovis schools and First United Methodist Church, and graduated from Clovis High in 1975. For most of his life he worked for rest homes, property managers and others doing home repair and maintenance. He enjoyed reading, cooking, wood working, camping on the Pecos River, and being with his nephews and nieces. He loved his dogs and the Dallas Cowboys!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and June Hunker; his uncle, Bernard Hunker; his niece, Heather Hayden, all of Clovis; his brother-in-law, Eddie Butler of Vacaville, Calif., and his aunt and uncle, Jess and Virginia Wesner and cousin, David Wesner, all of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his sisters, Cindy (Sanford) Landers, Cherrie (Wayne) Hayden, all of Clovis, and Laurie (Chuck) Craven of Angola N.Y.; his close friend, Ramona Maestas of Clovis, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the First United Methodist Church Chapel in Clovis with Pastor Keath Baskett officiating.
