Corsinio Pando, 88, a resident of Mora, N.M., passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018, in Las Cruces, N.M.
He was born on April 19, 1930, in Mora, N.M., to his parents, Demetri Pando and Genoveva Trujillo. He was a machinist for Kennicot Minerals Diesel/Gas Engines in Salt Lake City, Utah. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Jacobo, Rosendo, Joe, Alfredo, Ernest and Julian Pando; sisters Celani Medina and Corina Garcia; his son, Robert Pando, and his daughter, Diane Howard.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Desiree Padilla of Grand Junction, Colo., and sister Viola Pando of Alexandria, Va.
A rosary service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 4, 2018, at 10 a.m., with both services to be conducted at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church in Mora with father Paul Grala, S.O.L.T.
Interment will follow at the San Antonio Cemetery in Cleveland, N.M.
