Dionicia R. Encinias, 100-year-old resident of Tecolotito, passed away at her home on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013.

She was born to the late Esteban and Apolonia Romero on March 30, 1913. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfonso Encinias; and brothers, Ignacio Romero, Santiago Romero, Sr., Andalecio Romero, and Jose Romero.
Dionicia is survived by her sons, Jose Encinias (Melba), and Juan Encinias, all of Tecolotito; grandchildren, Debbie Gomez (Lawrence), Jose Encinias Jr., Maria Encinias (Shane), Matilda Trujillo (Johnny), Rudy Encinias, Greg Encinias, Cenovia Encinias, and Francisco Encinias; great-grandchildren, Lawrence Gomez Jr., Audreyana Romero, Yvonne Gomez, Joshuah Valverde, Marissa Valverde, Jesus Urioste, Ethan Encinias, Cypris Encinias, Anestazia Lucero, Micka Lucero, Drake Lucero, and Kane Encinias; great-great- grandchildren, Jonathan Flores II, Lorenzo Gomez III, Rudy Gomez; and her caregiver, Crystal Villanueva. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Dionicia were held Tuesday at the Mountain View Church of Christ in Las Vegas. Burial followed at the Tecolotito Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Santiago Romero Jr., Jose Encinias Jr., Shane Salisbury, Joshuah Valverde, Greg Encinias, and Frank Encinias.
