Lisa was born January 7, 1970 in Pueblo, Colo. and came into the world bursting with energy and vitality. After moving from Pueblo to Villanueva she attended Valley and West Las Vegas Schools. She was a natural athlete, a quiet and soothing spirit, loved to exercise, play sports and strove to maintain a healthy body, mind and spirit. Lisa read the Bible with care and appreciated having deep conversations about spirituality and how to apply these teachings to her life. She liked to go fishing when she wasn't at work as well as cooking excellent meals for her family and friends. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at South Valley Care Center for the past six years. She was well loved and appreciated by co-workers and patients alike who knew her as a generous, gentle caregiver, dedicated to high-quality patient care and efficiency. She typically worked the most challenging hours and was often willing to do anything she could for anyone in need of her help.
Her home was filled with loving memories of her dedication to family, God and becoming the best person she could be. One of her favorite quotes read, "I don't ever want you to think that I take you for granted – you're so wonderful to be with that I feel totally comfortable with you and I sometimes forget to tell you how beautiful you make my life."
It is with that kind and thoughtful memory that her family holds her in our arms and will always remember what a bright and perfect soul she was. She will be deeply missed.
